Monsanto has been ordered to pay $289 million in punitive and compensatory damages to Dewayne Lee Johnson who sued the company over Roundup.

A recent report published in the peer-reviewed journal Environmental Health Perspectives has found a wide range of breast cancer causing chemicals in every-day products including cleaners, building materials and even treated tap water.

The funds are going towards a cancer centre which will provide much needed treatment, services and support to people with cancer in a friendly and welcoming environment closer to their home and family.

Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) are any organic compounds with a high vapour pressure that evaporate easily into the surrounding air. Some VOCs are extremely dangerous and can pose serious health risks including cancer. Minimising the risks, however, just takes a little understanding and some extra consideration when choosing things like solvents, cleaners, paints and other products.

Our annual donation goes towards the continual research of cancer, helping to develop new cancer treatments and cures which gives victims of the disease a better chance.
